Requirements:

• Solid experience in integrating risk/portfolio management systems with back office systems • Solid experience with developing new systems (incl. GUI, API etc.) and connectivity to off-the-shelf systems (trading systems, quantitative analysis tools, OMS etc.) • Working knowledge of Bonds, CDS, CDOs, Index products, Securitizations, Equities, Options, interest rates and derivatives • Strong quantitative and programming/developing skills and no less than 3 years experience in credit/fixed income hedge fund and/or prop trading group • Creating and maintaining financial information databases

Description:

Startup credit/fixed income hedge fund, focusing on relative value and directional strategies across credit, capital structure, emerging markets and structured credit products is looking for hands-on savvy IT guru with strong entrepreneurial spirit to head up trading technology and IT build out (hardware and software). Will report directly to CIO, COO and work closely with investment team to develop and integrate front-office systems. This person will have ability to hire junior developers and other help as the business develops. Will also be point person for managing technology outsourcing firm and systems vendors.
